Does God have a Coffee Menu

I have recently been struggling to wrap my mind around the concept and legalism of 'Free Will'. What exactly does free will look like? What does it feel like? And how does it tie into the 'Will of God'

The worries that haunt me revolve around the question 'Does God really only have one future that ends in success planned for us?' That doesn’t feel like free choice. I have many interests and skills but what if the career I find fulfilling, is not the career God wants for me? Surely Gods divine plan for us is flexible? Maybe there are multiple options that will fulfill his plan? How do I know what his plan is? And how exact is his plan? Once I start on this train of thought it starts to gain momentum until it gets wildly out of control and eventually derails!

When I order my coffee from my favorite coffee shop, is there a specific one that God wants me to have that day? What will happen if I make a choice that wasn't on Gods coffee menu? And on it goes, my thoughts spiraling.

To stop the spiral I turn to scripture.

"If any of you lacks Wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you"                                                              James 1:5
